Photographic Perspectives

Some of the photos at the bottom are just because I really enjoyed them and thought I would share.

Emphasis

Emphasis was my favorite of them all. I really had the camera focus on the fan so when someone viewed it, their eyes would just be drawn to it. I loved the way the fan looked almost better than the other things in the middle pictures especially.

Balance

Balance was definitely a little more difficult because of the way I decided to position the object. I had little room to capture an even amount of things along with the object. But I am very pleased with the middle photo because I captured part of the bed as well as my guitar next to it.

Lighting

Instead of using natural light for this, I took a lamp and directed in onto the object from different angles. It made the pictures look as if they were going to pop out in my opinion. The way the light made the colors look on the fan was really pretty and I am pleased with the outcome.

Texture

I chose to do texture for this particular object because it had some very distinct rivits in it. You can see that in the paper of the fan, it is both smooth in some places as well as very bumpy in others. Texture came easy to this object because of the way it was made and that is mostly why I chose to do that specific element.
